Our Guests Say...

The difference between staying at a B&B and a hotel is the difference between being a stranger in a strange land and visiting good family! James and Susan were so accommodating and really know their town. Nothing could be better than this.

— Sally, Virginia Beach, VA

We had emailed about our vegetarian diet – and Susan did a great job presenting breakfasts and afternoon snacks we could eat.

— Spikenology, Charleston, SC

A Note from Your Host…

I’m calling it: Spring is officially here (present weather excepted)!  In spite of the recent cold snap our flowers and fresh herbs are pushing their way out of the ground.  And even more indicative, we have a new and improved golf package at the award winning Grove Park Inn Golf course.  Not only do we have special rates for our guests but the rates include a full set of club rentals as well.  We can even accommodate spur of the moment decisions to play!  For more details please check our Specials Page (Click Here).

For those who don’t play golf, we are happy to help you plan a hike or drive through the country, complete with picnic.  Spring really is special here in Western North Carolina.  So plan your visit today!

Unable to visit us right now?  Bring a touch of the Carolina Bed & Breakfast to your home with a purchase of my cookbook, Our Family Table: Recipes and Lessons From A Life Abroad.  It contains many of the recipes our guests enjoy and request at our inn as well as some easy recipes for small or larger groups.  You can order it on Amazon or by following the links on this page.
